Introduction

I came to Dublin last year for a new job but haven't really managed to meet many people outside work yet - high time to change that!

What activities would you be interested in seeing organized?

Short hikes/walks on weekday evenings, longer hikes on weekends, pub evenings, dinner parties (where everybody contributes), maybe going to a concert together, and whatever else people come up with!

Do you plan to move out from Dublin?

Who knows? Maybe - depends on the climate and whether I can finally get adjusted to it!

April 2007

Where do you come from?

Difficult question - my parents live in a small place in Germany, but I left home when I was 17. Went to school in Canada, spent my gap year in the Philippines, studied in Germany, UK, and Spain and did a postdoc in France!
