Walk from Drogheda to Slane Via Battle of the Boyne Site along Boyne Tow path.

Take the train from Dublin Connolly to Drogheda, we will return from Dogheda so buy return ticket

We Will take the train Dublin Connolly 11:00 arriving Drogheda 11:33

The walk can be a bit muddy in patches so it is advised to wear suitable footwear and clothing.

You should expect to walk for 3 to 4 hours.

    I missed you all as well, think I arrived at 11:06am at Connolly. Took the 11:30 train, then decided to walk the Boyne tow path anyway. Got to the Battle of Boyne visitor centre just as the heavens opened :) Had a great day, thanks for the idea Liam. Maybe we can repeat this one for those that couldn't make it. Seems popular.

    The walk is from Drogheda to the visitor centre at new grange we then get bus or share taxi's back to Drogheda. We should make it for visitor centre bus to drogheda.
